Fit check: Are those sleeves too short

Hey,
I decided to bring my P213 to the tailor because the sleeves were a little bit too long, so I told her to cut off 2cm. What a mistake... I do not know if she could not count or what her problem was, but it was definitely more than 2cm, maybe 4... Nevertheless, I am asking you guys, is it still tolerable, or are those sleeves way too short now. What do you think?

Those look alright. I had a tailor once tell me that a leather jacket should fall midway down the thumb. That seems like overkill!

I agree with everyone else: any shorter and it'd be a problem.

Try zipping the coat up, then raise your forearms to 90 degrees. That's how I typically check.

If they roll back 2-3 " on your arms - too short. Those are borderline based off the photos you provided.

Ya. I think they look fine. How do they feel?
Most of the models I see seem to wear them short. Look at some of the websites and you see this. Many with the undershirt extending beyond the cuff of the jacket sleeve.
Thurston, Thedi, Standard and Strange, etc.... in a lot of pics the jackets seem short at the wrist and higher on the waist.
I personally prefer them a bit longer on sleeve and waist... but it’s really just a preference thing. I have a couple jackets that fit like this and they’re fine.

Most of the off the rack high end jackets with chest and shoulders in my size seem to follow the shorter sleeve trend as well. I wouldn’t worry about it to much. Your jacket looks fine.

The pics you posted look okay to me with your arms down. Do they seem extremely short to you when you move your arms?

You will receive a myriad of opinions about the length, none of which amount to a hill of beans. How do they feel to you? In my experience if I have a question about fit, I already know the answer.

Precisely this. It's why I have sent down the road several jackets that others thought were perfect in terms of fit. Fact is, I am the one wearing it. If I get in my truck and the sleeves roll back 2-3" and my wrists are exposed, I am just not a fan of that jacket anymore. It's no matter what others think at that point. It's only what you, the wearer, are comfortable with.

Seems the bases are covered. As you can see there is no correct answer. Just personal preferences. I myself like them a hair shorter. Problem is that it is in your head now that they are too short.

Looks good to me but I also prefer my sleeves to be a bit on the shorter side kind of hitting just below the wrist
