Fit advise Schott 689H

I‘m able to buy a nearly new Schott 689H for less than half the price. It is a 40 and I‘m 178cm (5‘10) with 72kg (158lbs). Do you the jacket fits me well?

Tricky jacket for your build as it is fairly boxy with big shoulders. But I think it fits you well.

when you said your height and weight and then said it was a size 40, I thought for sure it was going to be too big for you. But looks great. I'm kind of wondering if it was altered. The jacket seems shorter (not for you, perfect length) than spec. I remember I saw one on Ebay once, and I was debating getting a size 38 and I'm 6'0 185ish. I think at some point I actually got the size specs from Schott. If I remember, size 38 was like 22 ptp and 18 shoulder. And 40 was probably 18.5 shoulder and 23 ptp maybe, or something like that.

edit: went back and looked at some photos, actually the length looks about right. At half price, that's a great deal. Grab it if you haven't already.

a bit short in the body for my taste, but I presume this jacket is supposed to fit that way.
