First, welcome.

Now then, you are from Ohio. Why not get to a good sized community and go to a hat store? Try on some lids and see what you like.

If you are going to put a good wad into a hat, make sure it's one you really like and one that will last a long while.

I'm sure Dayton or Columbus would have some places to try.

Stay with what feels good and you are comfortable in.
