That's a great resource -- the 3/12/33 speech on the banking crisis stands, in my view, as the single most important speech by any President of the 20th century. It calmed a nation on the verge of genuine panic -- and possibly on the edge of a violent revolution.

I agree Lizzie. I played that exact speech for my kids yesterday and they had to tell me why it was so important. Many of them got it! So I was quite pleased
