Yes the ripped off photos from Thurston do....again....they aren't being stopped.

I reported the seller on eBay, maybe if they receive enough reports it'll get shut down. Worth a try I guess. I also forwarded it to Kim at Vanson. She replied and said they have been dealing with sites like that for over a year, and that she would pass the info on to the person they have working on it.

Worth a try, but they often do nothing. A couple years ago I bought a vintage jersey that turned out fake, the seller partially refunded me as I complained and apologized, then listed it again a couple weeks later as genuine. He has kept doing this for year despite having reported him and chatted with eBay support providing the big red flags (team's crest off center) and showing the conversation (to which I'm quite positive support has access to) in which the seller admitted it was fake.

Anything that's remotely desirable will sadly be a risk of it being fake when buying from unauthorized dealers.

It's the fact that it's being sold as "new, with tags", choose your size, and it comes from Pakistan.
Vanson Leathers are made in Fall River, MA.
If it was a Vanson Leathers jacket or a Thurston Bros Vanson jacket, it would be sold from them directly.
Not from a seller with 2 reviews.

Condition and price is good, especially for a J-23. If it was in a 38 or 40 I would get it. Saw a 36 sell on Yahoo as well recently for more than this it was at like 110,000 JPY I think, that came with the collar.

J-23 is much harder to find for Lost Worlds in my experience so they command a higher price over the more common models like G-1, Ryder, Suburban, etc. Those go for really low prices like 30,000 JPY often. This one also has sales tax since it's sold by the Junk Vintage store out of Osaka.

Newbie here- what exactly is a proxy service? Was actually recommended by someone here to use that for yahoo japan auctions (as well as a buddy of mine in real life said the same). I’m technologically illiterate lol
