measurements are obviously wrong tho. 50cm sleeve 64cm shoulder. maybe he reversed it?

Yep, that's the tag on my jacket.

Now I'm starting to wonder, would mine indeed be a size 46? It was somewhat big on me at first so I removed the shoulder padding and installed an extra elastic band next to the original one which I shortened somewhat to increase the tension, pulling in the back gussets to make the jacket more fitted.

1970s CHP CAL, vintage leather jacket with custom mutton collar | eBay

It's in excellent condition, almost still unbroken. I had a custom mutton collar made but never really worn the jacket. I realized I prefer more broken in, aged look. The leather is stout but soft, around 1.7 to 1.8mm, all zippers in perfect condition.

Username does look familiar. All said this Cal looks damn near worth the eBay ask. I had a late 50’s Cal that was very similar and in like condition that went abroad for about that ask. A like new Cal is a rare spotted owl in a sea of crows and pigeons.
