My apology for my confusion! Looks like I was one who "didn't get it". I obviously red it opposite of you intention. I was just curious. I thought too, you may have seen something to give you that impression.

A straight zip Taubers police jacket just looks unique to me. I think of cross zip when I think of Taubers police jackets.

The Taubers, I referred to in my comment, is also a straight zip, but a MC jacket with no belt loops and low buckle adjustment. I bought it after a member posted the jacket in this thread. It too, is a Taubers like I have not seen. In my world that is exciting find. I have forgotten the post, but thank the member for the post.

As I recall that jacket was met with skepticism; broken zipper, originally over priced. I saw that, but I also saw a unique Taubers. That is what I bought.

Again, thanks for your polite clarification. I noticed you are interested in owning a Taubers? I have a cross zip in size 42/44, I recall I posted for sale here. Contact me if you are interested.

Looking at the chest I wondered if they measuring incorrectly due to gussets—too small either way though. Nevertheless I would hazard a guess it was not made for a woman originally!

I think you are right about the gussets. True S2s could therefore be arout 16" - still small, but doable for more people. Nice jacket!

Very cool. Possibly swedish yes, there are some construction similarities to jackets I have had. Agree that it’s goatskin.
