That thing is a horrid example of everything that went wrong in the 80s, lol. Where do I even begin...

Ha! Yeah, especially those 4-little pocket zips at the bottom, and the "one side padded" shoulder details.

Now that I look at it, looks like an 80's robot jacket...or something like that. I guess it's still in nice shape, but a few less elements to it/simpler design it would be so much better.

SUSPECT, I can't see them ever doing that but who knows...

I can't blame you for being suspicous, as the design IS radically different from anything I've ever seen from Aero.

The description mentions that the seller asked Ken Calder about it, who said that only 3-4 examples were produced as a prototype. So if that story is true, it is definitely THAT Aero Leather Clothing.

Realistically I can't see wearing a leather poncho, I would think it would be much too heavy as well as hot to wear in most weather that was warm enough for rain.

I think this appeals to a collector who is looking to document the history of Aero for some reason, probably not something to wear, at least not for a practical purpose. But it's interesting that it even exists.
