these are made by y2 to og bros design, limited quantities, unevenly hand dyed with some lovely grain. I have the same horsehide and it's very nice stuff.

I've owned this Hercules in a couple of different pockets. The "Stiff" leather and the scuffing look exactly like mine. This jacket is made by California Sportswear probably early 50s. The jacket I owned did not have the CSC logo. I doubt any conditioning is going to soften the leather, just the way it came. The hanger burn is deep, The rest? They have an offer, big shipping, try it on..

I'm trying to fix this issue with my Sierra Sportswear I bought here on TFL classifieds. No luck yet.

2-Different California Creations CrossZips - 2 different sellers, but both size "40". Both look to made of very thick, heavy Steerhide with amazing graining developing. Both have fixed quilted lining and would make a great daily driver, or starter jacket if you fit this size...(there are more out there, just put the first two I found...)
