The main expense of buying from EU is how the import taxes are calculated (including freight cost).

North American sellers are more likely to under declare the value. Japanese sellers/proxies just won't do it.

So you really have to look at the landed cost if you're buying from EU, all taxes included.

It actually works the best to have a proxy in the US to have everything shipped there, no taxes under 800 and one of the chepeast shipping rates worldwide, then under declare the value and then ship to EU. US to EU shipping is also less than say Canada to EU shipping.
