The small collar on the enfield does kind of annoy me. I'm probably going to try to make mine sit a bit nicer with the water + binder clips method.

Yes. Mine is worse, no lining and rips everywhere. Fortunately I took it for very few. I contacted a tailor to put a new lining and sew some parts.
