I would love to find one of these in my size one day.................. if I were President, I would have my entire administration wearing these jackets compliments of the American Tax Payers!!!!! I think because the Mulholland fetches high used sale prices that some think that all Freewheelers are a safe investment but sold listings tell a different tale.


I think I learned from here that a safer choice if you plan to sell your jacket after a few seasons is to buy vintage, if you get a good deal.
I see that’s what many veteran members do

Just have to see if it makes the yearly lineup. If it does not sell like the Muholland, FW would really drop it.

The leather actually looks kinda cool but that price is ridiculous.

It is a reseller who inflated the price by around $1800. I remember the listed price of a CH leather vest was GBP1700 while a leather jacket was GBP3300 back around 1992. Those have more silver than this one.

Amazing find! A true testament to the Golden Years of leather jackets. Looks like a West Coast jacket probably bay area San Francisco. This is an example of the Highest end of the craft c.1937. Probably a custom made, small shop jacket that was very expensive. Highest quality leather, hard wear, and execution. Amazing.
