I find very annoying that all the samples or leftover jackets are always in big sizes.

It’s the same people always having the great deals!

Regardless of that I find most of those jackets very long for me.

I believe the pit to pit of the Manhattan was 21.75 inches (smaller than the size 42 tag implied)

I remember $900 for the NOS Beck, but not 100% sure of that. It is gone, I hope you got it. It is not often that we see NOS 1950s jackets.

I am frankly surprised that this NOS 42 Beck biker jacket is still available at $888.

I hear you and I feel the sentiment for the most part…..just wish I didn’t love leather jackets so damn much. That being said, I just sold one and three more are on the auction block as we speak.

It's not gone, it's in a new listing now. I should probably get it before some FCL fanboy buys it and chops off the epaulettes like this poor jacket which deserved better.

Yes, $697 now on etsy. I remember reading on TFL that Becks with that label were not the greatest, Northeastern Togs was the one to get. Could be the reason it's still around.

For anyone looking for the "modern deadstock" Schott version of this jacket, which actually has more handwork and higher quality finishing than the vintage (with its unfinished side lacing, faux-leather trim, etc), check this out. (I say "modern deadstock" as the model is no longer made, but this store still has a few and at their old price…)

I was looking at it for myself some months ago so I got the spec sheet from Schott (which is how I determined the sizing wouldn't work for me. Perhaps it will work for one of you.

Yes, they're still great jackets but there was some economizing. I noted this when making my offer.
