My Comet did run small when compared to other Vanson.

It’s definitely a slimmer pattern, but this guy’s measurements are smaller than my 44 comet. Though mine was recent and the HH stuff was quite a while back I believe.

IMO the asking price is $400 too high for what it is. That said it’s a beautiful jacket. I’d throw $350-$400 at it and walk away happy. It would need the ‘nor’easter tag to get into the price point the seller is asking, and this is not from that era. This is 60’s jacket I believe.

100 percent agree. Nor’easter tag or real early Schott label (mint jacket) is the only time I’d think about paying over $500 for a Schott/Beck jacket. Possibly excluding some of their d pocket repros NOT named Stallion.
