Californian, "42 inch chest;" $250 + shipping
Description says "excellent condition," though I'd want to see better pictures of the collar and left shoulder and see what's going on there. Still, very, very, very cool. If only it were a little roomier...
"Styled for Dane Clark, Warner Bros. Star" - The guy was with Warners in the '40s and did some movies with Bogart and Cary Grant, amongst others. Character actor with a long, interesting career.

Yes. The chest is larger. And his standard 46 Trojan has 21” shoulders. If interested I would ask for pics. My Trojan 44 is my favorite jacket. First among a few equals.

Dane Clark was a little guy. Be interesting to see the measurements. You have a link?

I am waiting for the chapter on labels dating jackets by label

Thanks, I need a place to start. I have the Big Three catalog labels pretty well figured out for leather jackets. Taubers I think I have, Ralphs-Pugh, California Sportswear, Mid-West Sport Togs, Some on Block of California, some thoughts on Appalachian. Buco, Harley labels seem pretty well figured out. I have examples of hundreds of labels that are just interesting graphics.

Zippers date labels and labels date zippers.

50's German leather jacket in very nice condition - reminds my a bit of the Engelbert Vanek I sold to @Jin431 both from seams and leather point of view. Price is rather high - 450€ taking into account that the maker is unknown, so not a real deal but IMO nice jacket and nice condition:

The 4 pocket front/pocket placement/cuff design/waist band with side adjusters and front snap definitely is uncanny. The back design looks very functional too. The leather looks very good on this piece as well! Thanks for sharing
