Anyone here have any experience with the apprentice/trainee jackets? They have a halfbelt in my size and the photos don't look too rough lol

That's a great deal bro. That's normally £800++ with the upcharge on the leather plus shipping. It's probably not the neatest stitching like what the description says but for the pattern and price I think it might be a great buy

Well, I am considering the buy. Came up in a local curated vintage shop.

It has a nice two-way Conmar zip for the main event and four lovely Conmar diamond zipes on the exterior pockets, also it has kind of a sunburst half-belt at the back. No adjustment tabs though. It's in as good a condition as you can find a jacket that hasn't been subject to preservation or the dumb luck of an optimal storage situation.

My size, 38.

Trouble is I just fully designed and commissioned my own leather jacket and had the prototype shipped to me this very day, so it is hard to justify throwing another 250 into the wind!

If the deerskin is your thing and the jacket fits well, US$200 is a good price imo. I had a Thurlow MC jacket and paid US$225.

It’s been for sale on both Etsy and Ebay for quite some time. Perhaps an offer is in order? Too small for me.

I'm thinking of buying it myself even though it doesn't fit. Problem is, I'm running out of space here.
