This looks new / un-worn. Very nice condition. How do these compare to a Fox Creek?
I own a Branded and it can hold its own against the best in an apples to apples comparison of jackets. If that jacket fit me I would have hit the BIN button immediately. I live in Virginia, so am familiar with Fox Creek. They make a quality product that is a good value, but I would not put their typical jackets in the same league as many of the Branded jackets I've seen.

Agreed. Fox creek makes good stuff. IMO it is gear that folks looking for something better than Harley gear but that are oblivious to Vanson, Bates, Cal, etc., look for. I get it. I was “lucky” (maybe not) and skipped right past Fox Creek. That said, they make good gear at a good price, and provide good customer service.

Where in Virginia? I spent a few years in Norfolk/Newport News area. Then some more in northern VA outside of DC. One of my favorite states.

Closest "big" city near me is Charlottesville. Your comment concerning Fox Creek being an alternative to Harley is spot on. I'd even say the same for Vanson if all someone is looking for is a plain Jane jacket for riding. If we want "US made," we usually pay a premium, especially when dealing with a small business. But Fox Creek is very competitively priced. I have never heard anything negative about them and they have a lifetime warranty on their product. They once had a jacket on sale, but did not have my size. I spoke to a fellow at the shop and he offered to make me one in my size and honor the sale price. I passed on it, but thought that was a nice gesture.

Since someone mentioned Fox Creek, I see they have an overstock sale...20% off 2 of their jacket styles. The one on the right is about 1.5mm, comparable to Vanson's competition weight. The reviews speak for themselves. Vanson's website currently only offers one jacket without armor that will accept it, and not in their competition weight.

I posted this a long time ago. I can’t believe a jacket like this (better than nearly everything vintage and topped by no other maker), at this price is still around. He dropped the price a tad too. Small for me to comfortably zip up, but I still consider buying it to wear unzipped. And just to have.

I was really on the edge of buying this one so many times. The length is short for me but hey that’s what those high cut wranglers are for right?

Then I lucked into an excellent condition Bates cross zip. It closed off my desire for a vintage cross zip since I try to have only 1 representative of a style in my closet. Small way to keep the acquisition sickness at bay.

Hope someone here nabs it!

Nice looking jacket I think. Got a counter-offer for $380 and almost pulled the trigger, but I'm not really in love with it, and it's a little more than I wanted to spend.
Follow up to this. I did end up getting the jacket, but I ended up returning it because it had some undisclosed damage/issues. I was nice about it, and ate return shipping though. Fit was extremely weird, it fit my shoulders and chest fine, but the end of the sleeves and collar were too small for human proportions. My guess is that this was originally a size 34-36 that was left in a hot place, and it shrank.
