This maker has some interesting jackets. I have never handled one but they LOOK to be decent and always lower priced. Wellington is outta PEABODY, MASS, (pronounced -- "PEA-BUDDY" by the locals). One of a few Massachusetts jacket production hot spots.

Smaller size.....

How can you distinguish the Connelly??? By the Graining??? I know it was only used for a limited period. Is the Label indicative in any way of the time period the Connelly was used???
I had mine re-lined by Aero and they confirmed it was Connelly. If you send pics to Aero Leather they’ll confirm it for you - that’s the safest method. In answer to the rest of your question, by the grain and the label and by the smell (reminiscent of roses). One of the Aero team might spot this post and let you know. I’ve since traded mine a 44” chest to Jojo at Jojo’s General Store Ecclesall Road Sheffield U.K. - he still has it for sale if you’re interested?

That's a great deal for a Branded jacket. They make real heavyweight jackets, and I've always been wanting to try their police jackets. I'd snap it up if it was my size.

Branded Garments is awesome. They make police jackets for NYPD if I recall correctly. Super thick leather, classic designs. I think the newer leather isn't as good though from what I heard.

I have a CHP from them that is just awesome. I was going to sell it recently, then thought to myself, it's too cool to pretty much give away. I may consider as a trade because the closet is getting full of jackets and I've got other similar designs, but without a doubt, I'd put it up against anything I have. There is no question that jacket will be worn by my great great grand children who will be born 100 years from now.

They suffer from not being a recognized quality brand. Good for the people who know what they're getting.

Here's a jacket from Hillside USA. Starting at $85 and BIN at $125. https://www.ebay.com/itm/133627675941

This brand has a mixed reputation here from what I can tell - they produce motorcycle jackets and had good decent offerings, but at some point, they started using a pretty gross, printed hide. Not sure if that is what is used here. Seller gave me these measurements in case anyone is interested:

Arm pit to arm pit 21.5”
Shoulder to shoulder 19”
Shoulder to sleeve cuff 25”
Waist 18”

Yeah, they're one of my favorite brands to search for. I've not been able to find anything in my size for a good price recently, but eventually I'll find one. I saw that CHP style one you had on the classifieds awhile back, but it was a bit too large.

I had one jacket I sold from them that was pretty crazy. It was based off the NY / NJ? highway patrol peacoat. Crazy heavy, I forgot to weigh it before shipping it out, but I think it was around 15 pounds, possibly more. It's a bit misshapen because of how I was hanging it for the picture, but this is what it looked like.

I've also been looking for a branded garments jacket, and have also failed to find anything. If you don't mind telling me your size and price range I will post any good deals here.

holy cow!! I called mine "beast". That thing is super beast LOL.

On japanese auction site week or two ago, a really nice, basic style racer sold for like $50. Can't tell you how tempted I was to buy even though I need another jacket like a hole in the head.

I've "graduated" to Cals now which are a bit more stylish CHP and obviously have the brand allure, but I'd easily put the Branded up against my two Schott cross zips for quality and all that.

I don't understand how is this so cheap. I had the same one, Vanson quality or slightly better even with much nicer hide. Someone from the UK should get this immediately and without thinking about it.

I recall buying this jacket (not this particular one) from you. It was awesome. Moved it on bc it was too warm for me. Once I get to a cooler region of the US, I will regret selling it. If you recall it was reddish, brown under the topcoat. Very cool looking.

Yep, that's the one you bought from me. I seriously rarely ever handled such quality, not to mention the jacket was an absolute beast. Hide was reddish with black finish. It was brand new, too. 42 in Branded was much too large for me but if it fit, I wouldn't have needed another jacket, ever.

I think this is the jacket I have now. Branded Garments is a great bargain brand that goes for pricing much lower than the quality level it's made at.
