Finds and Deals - Leather Jacket Edition

I have been looking at @torfjord 's insanely cool Brooks a couple of times the last few days. But then I told my self I didn't need two black cafe racers from the 60s (I already have the HD one pocket sportster). But this one just looked fantastic with those angled chest pockets and it was dirt cheap.

I didn't take the quilted lining into account though, 22' is already pretty tight on me. So chances are it will be too tight.

That's always been my favorite CR ever. First place is a tie between CAL and Schott (though Schott maybe wins due to quilted liner), followed by Kehoe and then Brooks, Beck, Fidelity, etc.

If it doesn't fit, let me know and I'll get it from you straight away.

Finger is on the trigger. But the shoulder measurements is making me hesitate. 53 cm. That´s close to 21 inches. I got pics from the seller and they know how to measure accurately.

Nice looking NYPD jacket. Made by Miklos Sas. If I remember correctly, these were made out of horsehide. I have seen them sell for cheaper than $175, but normally they have lots of use. This one seems to be in great condition. It think it is too big for me, though, because the waist doesn't taper. The seller gave me these measurements in case anyone would be interested. I'm still thinking about it myself, honestly.

This jacket is about to sell as I write. It is Goatskin, Sunrise Talon zipper, late 30s Windward label. The seller doesn't explain the Monarch connection, could well be. Love that lining. Such a shame about that zipper, especially the original Sunrise. They do make very accurate reproductions. These original zippers are hoarded by ever maker and person who like vintage outerwear.
