Nah, not a replica. Terminator 2 jacket was made by Bates and it's crazy expensive nowadays but I can't imagine anything else being a better jacket, at any price range. Bates is on top of the game. Anyway, check it out.

Bates actually made the jackets for the both movies (yes, there are only two Terminator movies - there aren't three, four or whatever, only two) but the first one was their regular Highwayman model with some mods.

I’ll just smell it and sell it. Wouldn’t be the first time.

Hilarious picturing you taking in several long, deep breaths thoroughly enjoying the scent of rich leather and then abruptly throwing the jacket into a box and shipping it out to a buyer!! Like, you HAVE to ship it out to keep from habitually smelling it!! :p:p

Sheltering in place has my imagination doing strange things....

ton's not so strange doing this. It's like those competition fishermen who catch a beauty, give it a kiss and throw it back into the drink. It's a celebration of process - the thrill of the chase, the journey, the quest, the hunt... call it what you will. I think I've probably had more pleasure, identifying and finding jackets, paying for them, waiting for them to arrive, beholding them when they do, than I've had from wearing them.

I think you just summed up my whole obsession as well ;) I only wish I had started hunting leather back when I was thrift shopping in the late 80s-90s at the second hand stores. So many more likely finds back then. At least these days, we have the Internet which makes the hunt truly GLOBAL.
