Finds and Deals - Leather Jacket Edition

I picked up that Cidu that HandyMike was selling not too long ago. How to describe it? Sort of a cardboardy feel when you first put it on, but then it feels more comfortable. My son and his friends really like it, and I guess I do too, Really hard to describe. One of the best things about it is the dye job HM did on it - a really dark brown, almost black. As HM described it to me, it's the kind of jacket you might wear a couple of times a month, and when you do you wonder why you don't wear it more often. Then you reach for the Aero.

I think Ton had a Cidu cossack jacket. I on the other hand have never handled one.

I was wondering about the smell: mine smells kind of like shoe polish, but I don't know if that was due to the dye-job HM did.

Aero Leather Teamster Cordovan Steerhide, barely worn condition, 450 €. Very heavy leather by the looks of it. Seems to be the older, less oil-polished and more waxy grainy super heavy stuff used on my Steerway HWM and Vest de Rallye from 2010ish making.
