I was looking at it as well but the 17.5-in hem scared me off. I weigh 150 lbs and probably could not zip it up with this hem width.

The seller just told me that his girlfriend measured it and she likely made a mistake. He asked what size jeans I wear (34) and told me that his are the same. Looks like I should've jumped on this and not trusted the measurements.

Heavyweight Vanson Chopper with beautiful grain and and nice distressed leather - seller says it's horsehide but it looks like cowhide:

I wear a size 32 waist now and based on the chest sizing and the look of the jacket I hope it will work out.

I really hope it does. Let us know. Your weight loss is amazing and an inspiration. The fit of that 17.5-in hem will be the ultimate proof in the pudding! I wear 31-32 jeans and was gun-shy of ordering, lol.

Lining of an 80s Ward halfbelt. These department store jackets are really well made, this one was probably made in Korea. I think in exchange for the lower labor cost, the Korean factory maintained the high quality technique and material. The threads are very strong, leather is cheap but aged beautifully and something I’d love to wear for a honest black jacket. The lining seams are chain stitched! Very interesting

This does look excellent. Seems there's mold on it but that's easily solved. For 70 GBP, that's a really nice score.
Too small for me, luckily or unluckily.

When I see mold on the outside what I really worry about is mold on the inside. I don't mind washing a leather jacket (well, if I have to), but nothing short of removing the liner entirely and looking at what's in there would set my mind at rest. It's too bad because I've seen some nice ones with a little mold on the outside that turned me away. Maybe I worry too much.
