LANGLITZ Columbia HEAVY Grade Cowhide Leather MOTORCYCLE JACKET! 46 https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/223536788742

So after so much talk, mostly to myself, about contentment with my jacket heard, I snapped this one up. I should see it in about a week, actually pretty happy to be purchasing this from a Northern California based firefighter/paramedic. I've had a hankering lately for a Langlitz again. Monitor and I traded one a while back, which is now in Germany. This one may be borderline too large, but it's 9 lbs of heavy, broken in steerhide which I am excited about! :)

Thanks guys for making me aware - and helping kick the habit down the road a little. *great* :)

Enabling others is one of my redeeming gifts.

Enjoy, the jacket looks like it will be well worth it.

Anyone know the era or maker?
Don't know the maker.
That style Talon in use from the late 1950s on.
On the chart look at the pull bottom right and for the box middle row second from right.
That's a good jacket, who made it at that price is irrelevant .
Have you had a police jacket before? the Cal Leathers horsehide are very heavy, and they are to a degree uncomfortable to wear. The goatskin is lighter and more wearable, I have both horse and goat police jackets, the horsehide does look better but I wear the goat more often for comfort. The horse I wear when riding my bike, also for me the straight cut back looks better than the the kidney belt but that's a matter of personal taste.

I don’t believe for a second it’s an Aero, but damn it’s cool.

In fact, a good jacket if someone likes the red color. The only thing that spoils the seam on the back, I don’t like it at all in jackets
