It unfortunately is super long and very odd measurements. I reached out to seller and got this info...

Measurements: Jacket zipped laid face down.
Shoulder width straight across: 17 inches
Pit-pit right below arm : 22 inches
Back length from base of collar seam to bottom hem: 27 1/2 inches

Aye, you can tell there's something off just from the pics. Bates are generally customs so they're even more of a gamble than most.

Walter Dyer. In all these years I still haven't come across a brand that flat out tops WD. I can't imagine you'd get a heavier, more durable jacket even from LW and in the right size, these jackets fit exceptionally well. I think this is the same pattern as mine which would make it very slim fitting.

You're right...

We can’t all have our eyes on eBay, Etsy and other sites all day every day to catch every deal out there. I appreciate it when others post jackets that may not fit them but may fit me. And I’ve posted at least two jackets here that were too large for me but other Loungers bought for themselves. Personally, I’m glad to help others score deals.

This is easily one of the best threads going. I’d like to see it continue in the spirit of helping other members find nice jackets at nice prices.

I hear you. I try to focus on deals with a BIN. If I want it, I would buy it. If not, try to put it in front of folks that may be interested in it.
