Another grainy possibility......

I lean toward it being Goat......... mainly because Aviator type jackets--at least the later military issue type are traditionally Goat. Its admittedly a fairly thin theory to be basing the hide ID on though. That said, a lot of Old Goat is super grainy and almost a dead giveaway whereas this one is a little puzzling. Not knowing the thickness/weight/pliability etc. I am mainly looking at the graining.

My MC Herc is either FO or Blatt. Likely FO now.

I haven’t seen a Herc MC jacket that reminds me of a RW MC jacket. But maybe I just haven’t seen one.

A RW, Blatt, Durable/Knopf are the jackets I currently am hunting. At reasonable prices. Talk about creek and no paddle. And whatever 40s police jacket that interests me.

When you see a Japanese seller on EBay just go to Yahoo auctions and search fot he same jacket. It will be cheaper. They sell you a product they don't have usually and purchase and sell it to you.

That's true.
Many of items from Japan are short selling.
The sellers will purchase items from yahoo auction, mercari and vintage clothing shops when they get orders on ebay.
It's not unusual that the prices on ebay are over two times higher than in Japan.
