Good looking jacket, those measurements seem off for a 42. Do Schotts run small in they’re sizing? I haven’t handled many mostly aviators.

They run all over the effin place. It can be frustrating. Are the measurements Schott lunacy or being measured by a lunatic on eBay lol. I don’t know. The Schott forum may dig into it a bit deeper. It is a cool jacket too.

that's a gorgeous jacket. I'm kind of on the fence with the elbow pads on an aviator. But at that price, pretty darn good. If I had to guess, I bet the ptp is 22-23 range.

I’m so close to buying a jacket I know will be too big. All manner of rationalization running through my head. I can layer, the fur lining is thick, it’s a fur lined Cal straight zip Cal, I may get bigger, my eyes deceive me and the measurements are wrong, it’s a damn fur line Cal lol.

I never measured the reinforced panel, front or back, on the Cals I have sold, but my sense of it is that they got a tad bigger (taller?) as the 60s rolled on.

holy cow, 25 ptp and 22 shoulder. NFL linebacker territory. That guy in the photo though looks pretty skinny and it definitely looks big on him, but not crazy big. Maybe Dena or Gwen could trim it down? Shoulders are always tough though. What you going to do with that in Texas anyway LOL?

I have more pics if you want. Had to get a closer picture of the label to confirm what it was. The big main zip is YKK, so obviously that's been replaced, but it doesn't look like a bad fix.
