I have a pair just like this, which I figured was Beck. No idea if it is horsehide or steer hide though.

Lol! Keep 'em rolling. @Coriu, the shipping here will be $70. It's never less. And I don't think I can actually wear a vest. It's too hot now for anything and same story every year. I'd be able to wear it a week per year. Best I give up on my leather ideas during summer.
