For some reason, I am focused on this Horsehide Label.................. It looks off to me....... Not saying the jacket is a FUGAZI Horsehide Garment necessarily..........

Just the fact that its label is off center in its liner placement, tweaked somewhat in a counter clockwise direction and very sloppily stitched to this jacket. We've all seen our share of labels........this one just looks suspect to me for some reason. It's not like the Seller appears to be trying to sell a cowhide as a horsehide to get a higher sales price as the price is cheap as is. Maybe it was just a drunk person operating the sewing machine that day......Perhaps its Cabin Fever from being on Covid-19 Lockdown in my house (highly likely ).

Anyway, it just looks "off" to me.......just sayin......

I see what you mean. And the stars look a bit off now that I stare at them. Small? Though given their placement it could have been a 2-star jacket of some kind. But I don’t see any markings in the leather indicating a Star used to be there. Ha, who knows. I am far from an expert.

The Excelled labels are just glued on. I had a Excelled hh half-belt with the missing label. Typically low grade leather.
