It's had police patches sewn onto it and removed, leaving stitch holes. Given that, it's not something that I would buy. But the condition is otherwise very nice.
I noticed that. It would work for some but probably not me. At that price it makes a much more compelling argument. I would put patches over it if it was me or just leave as is to thrash around without care.

From a pure practicality standpoint, I doubt you can do any better in terms of cost per unit of protection.

This appears to be a Fidelity product NOT a Grais....... I could be mistaken. Any other opinions out there?? It seems these Fidelity jackets spawn the most fantastically wishful brand identities when people list them for sale often claiming they are Horsehide and this or that brand. They are not labeled other than the generic GENUINE LEATHER GARMENT tag and they commonly have the double riveted chain hanger. This price for a Grais in this condition is questionable. For a Fidelity its unquestionably out of the question. What was the question again???o_O

Also yeah, agreed. It's most likely Fidelity. I wonder why so many of these don't have the Fidelity tag, though? Just this leather garment one. Could be people remove them on purpose so that they could claim it's something it's not. This Indian Ranger style could relatively easily fool someone.

Fidelity did work in horsehide early on but these jackets are unmistakable. Some of the best I've seen. Ever.
