Good call Monitor. That jacket deserves you!
What years were Connolly leather used?
B

90's if I'm not mistaken. Not 100% sure, though. I've had just one Connelly jacket. It's not easy to ID one just from the pics as the hide resembles some other steer leather Aero has been using in the past, like the Alaskan Steer. Connelly is a beautiful leather in any case. Super tough, too.
This is a gorgeous jacket. I just love this classic cross zip style the most. D-pocket is cool but this is it for me.

P2p is impossibly wrong though. I had a 42” with a chest of 25”. Gorgeous but definitely very large jacket. That model in a 44” is...BIG.

Seller's giving some conflicting info about that. 25" "full expansions". Not sure what that even means but I think they got to 22.5" measurement by just measuring side stitch to side stitch. My first Aero was an MC jacket, sz. 44 as well and yeah, it was around 24" P2P.

Same. I had a 42”. 25” chest, 20.5” waist. Fit like a beautiful CXL balloon. I think Aeros refined, slim fit pattern of this jacket makes more sense.

View attachment 196148 Thanks M. I was reading about Connolly and it said they closed in 2002. Also, that in the 90’s they branched out and started selling hides for things other than cars until about 2000.
The pic is a stamp on the hides for cars. Wonder if the jacket hides had stamps to??
