This is a "wow!" jacket. Something I've never seen. Sadly does have some pretty real damage to it, but cool, un-lined and heavy brown leather with plenty of snaps. Almost resembles an East-West Musical Instruments jacket...but who really knows? More of a "find" at the asking price. About a size "44":

This looks like possibly one of the WASHABLE GOATSKIN jackets. I think they came in goat. I am sure they also came in WASHABLE CALF SKIN............. Cool jacket. Not cheap.

Pretty sure it’s a women’s jacket.

Very nice and very small. No label I could see. Not seen a Californian like this. Reminds me of Block Bilt. Goatskin of this era was spectacular like shown here, near 90 years old.

Not so sure it’s a Californian. Have you seen that cuff configuration or back design before on a Cali?

Priced way too high. Even if it isn’t a women’s jacket, it’s way too small for me.

I've seen button on pockets, not cuffs like this or a back. The slanted pockets remind me of a Block style. I have one with a similar look.

Congratulations! Another beauty from Ralphs-Pugh. This is the first use/only use of this green label patented 1938.. Pretty much the High Mark for Vintage leather. Proudly using fine Steerhide. I can't find a size 42/44 from this era. Your collection of RP is growing.

Thanks Terry! Yeah these jackets are special. This one has the deco talon with a hallmark I’m assuming from the early 40’s. I’ll post pics. If I ever see one in 42-44 I’ll send it your way.

The one you got was from FakeAlpha right? I really wanted that one but I hesitated because of the price and it sold quickly. I’ve made that mistake many times in the past. Didn’t make that mistake this time.
