I have never experienced that phenomenon and I have a couple Filson mackinaws, wool vests, and mackinaw shirt jacsThe Filson Mackinaw Cruiser is my favourite coat by far. Only bought it last winter but wore it every day since.
However, I have noticed that the clothes I have worn underneath seem to have aged more rapidly than I would have thought. All were kind of newer stuff I just bought without prior history with the brands (including a Filson wintage flannel work shirt.)
Has anybody experience any particular accelerated aging of other clothes (because of friction I would imagine) because of the Mackinaw cruiser?
