Don't miss the Peter Gunn TV series from the late 50s. Very noir and jazzy with lots of tail finned Chryslers, Plymouths and DeSotos. The local library got the whole series on DVD and I have been enjoying them. I never appreciated how well made they were from a style standpoint. The plots and dialogue could be kind of cheesy but they are great fun.

While doing my research for my film noir movie parody web series, www.movieparodynetwork.com (shameless plug) I came across three lesser known movies; D.O.A., Detour (with a wonderful performance by Ann Savage) and the Strange Loves of Martha Ivers that I thoroughly enjoyed. Right now on our channel we have parodies of The Maltese Falcon and D.O.A up and more to come.

I was browsing old posts in this thread and came across this post. Being a filmmaker myself involved in a very similar project, I'd love to find out more about this web series, but there is no recent activity listed from this member, and the link seems to only bring up a blank page. If anyone knows this member or can direct me to a working link to his films I'd be very grateful. Thanks.
