I think the jacket is great. One of your jackets that I like the best on you (although the others are of course also great)
It sure is nice to look at and wear. I really wished it had a regular collar like yours too at first but then again I think im liking cafe racers more now. Thank you again.

I know it's what we do around - OBSESS - LOL. But that jacket is awesome for 99.9998% of the people out there. As a racer, you can get away with a tighter fit so long as you're on the slim side. A half size bigger wouldn't hurt, but it's also not end of the world. But I know the feeling, when multiple jackets are fighting for wear time, any little excuse is an excuse not to wear in favor of something else. A handful of months back I just developed mental courage and got over the fact that every line doesn't need to lay perfect, etc. etc. and then I started trimming the overall count to a number where I felt each jacket would get at least a dozen wears each year. So versatility, color schema against my other clothes, etc. became bigger factors than I've got a line running along my chest or whatever. Maybe it's the overall mentality, the decluttering, or the fact my jackets have gotten more wears, but I just find them all so much better.

my thinking is it fits too great and I don't want to outgrow the jacket as I've already gained 10 lbs since the pandemic started lol this one feels like a small 36 or maybe a big 34 so I'm really cutting it close with this guy.

I noticed you cut down on your jacket herd and kept what only brings joy?? (Ala Mari kondo) lol plus decluttering means you narrowed down what you really want as far as leather jacket goes so the succeeding purchases will be towards the sure keeper pieces which also saves closet space and time that would otherwise be used for selling off pieces that don't fit right or you don't like that much

There were only two jackets made in this leather. Both Racers, both excellent jackets! I also wished Greg would offer this mid brown Shinki again too.

yes sir I bought mine as soon as I saw @MrProper 's brown jacket, that jacket also has fit issues but the leather looks so clean/flawless it's perfect. Greg really put a lot of effort into making that 1st ever MTO FL.

yeah I got rid of anything that was pretty circumstantial, i.e., I can only wear with these pants or these shoes or whatever. Life is too short and I got enough crap in the house LOL. Went from about 30 jackets to about 18 now if you count my c3 vest and the incoming FL sometime next year. Still gluttonous but way more manageable. A handful of the jackets are more vintage and not meant to be every day wearers or like my B3. So my "real" rotation is 13 jackets LOL. Jeez, crazy. But I figure my two sons are going to start using this stuff too in the next few years.

It's not good in the wet, it warped the hand warmer and lower third of the main zip tape.

If you soak the jacket and stuff it pillows it will come out looking as new.

Hope Greg offers this again in the future.

I also wished Greg would offer this mid brown Shinki again too.

Maybe we could do a GMTO? I want one too.

I’ve always wondered about that GMTO.
It’s more frequent with shoes. I’ve bought some GMTO from Shoehealers in UK. No jacket maker seems to offer this. It makes a lot of sense. Do a special run of leather for about 5 to 6 jackets.

I've had this brown full aniline cafe racer for a year now, the Leather seems to have darkened a shade and only had minimal stretching in the chest. It's not good in the wet, it warped the hand warmer and lower third of the main zip tape. Should have sized up and made the sleeves longer but I feel like I ain't moving this jacket on. Hope Greg offers this again in the future.

There is a lot of strong competition, but I think this is still my favorite of all the jackets I’ve seen come out of Greg’s workshop.

thanks man, love how this fit/wear/look. still unsure about belted jackets in general but I keep dreaming about my own la Brea lol

THAT is the reason why I like off the rack jackets. They make all the decisions for you. All you have to do is accept them, compromise!

Damn. Amazing fit!
thanks man. did you receive your jacket yet? hope that fits and wears well for you. interested to know your take on the leather too.

You may be the first bubba round here to gain 10 and get a better fit lol. It does look amazing.
thanks brother. I bulked up over that time span, I'm eating about the same so it could be my metabolism is getting slower or I'm now finally at my full grown weight lol I outgrew my black 5* trucker already so I gave that away and I'm close to outgrowing the brown FL cafe racer if I don't keep in shape

Best of the best!
thanks Justin, the leather is super nice to wear as you know. it's where i want the Vermont to be in terms of stiffness.
