Yeah man I'm super excited. Just need to figure out what I want. If I'm going to get a bespoke jacket made I want something that style wise will last a life time. Timeless with a twist. Hey maybe that's what I'll name my jacket. Yours was "Frankenstein" and mine can be "Timeless with a twist" haha. I want it to fit like a glove, be classic, with a little bit of different. My girlfriend hears this from me all the time when it comes to clothes "oh I really dig that! It's different".

I would not call it that especially unsavory if you abbreviate it lol I hear you as it is nice to have MTO jackets that has a classic look but with a little something different that sets it apart. That thought will be important when you finally figure out the specifics of your jacket and to have the subtle details here and there to complete your look

Hi guys, I ask you a favour. I have to understand better the type of leather in order to understand if it's ok for my taste.

Can you tell me how many lb is the weight of your FL's jacket / the type of leather used / the model of jacket / approximately the size of it (S / M / L...)?
I'm mainly interested in "clean jackets" (something based on Route 66 or Idaho design, not Manhattan).

(I'm absolutely new in leather jackets, I recently tried a calf jacket and I didn't like the weight, 3.1 lb in XS size... too much for what is my idea of my first leather jacket...)

(EDIT: of course 3.1 lbs / not 31 lbs)

I can put mine on the scales later today, but for now I’ll just say that it is an ideal mid-weight. Definitely lighter and more wearable throughout the year than heavier CXLs I’ve owned (roughly 2.5oz versus 3.5-4.0).

Heavily Modified FL jacket base model is the Idaho in black aniline shinki 4.3 lbs in a true to size 36 or a size Small

Love how it's getting darker especially the back as the front of the jacket was a shade darker from the start. Probably helps when I don't baby it and wear it anywhere even when it was raining. The hand warmers are not even straight anymore, shaped itself with how I sit when driving when the jacket was wet.

I would say fashion. Even if you can certainly wear this jacket on a motorcycle, I do not consider it a motorcycle jacket. but it's always better than driving with a denim jacket or t-shirt lol
For me, a jacket is a motorcycle jacket if I can wear protectors underneath and can still move around easily.

im guessing when it got wet during a rainstorm here and I had to drive for almost 4 hrs (bad traffic accident, it normally would have taken only 90mins) it formed that way since it's full aniline maybe. I'm glad it didn't shrink like my other jacket

I just haven't had the time to pick it up yet as I'm too lazy lol plus that's jacket is worn in already and I'm still trying to break in the Aero PHWM and the FL Frankenstein. I'll just wait to pick it up when I pick up the seal Vermont jacket they are finishing up
