This is a hard one to let go of but I have a few jackets that fit just a tad better as well as some incoming pieces. Field Leathers Idaho in Dark Seal Teacore Shinki Horsehide. Light wear with some tan peeking through in wear spots.

Marked size 40 and measurements are:

21.75” pit to pit
18.25” shoulders
25” sleeves measured straight
25.25” back length
25.75” front length

Price is $1100 including CONUS shipping and paid via PP/FF. No international shipping at the moment.

I’m excited to say that I just bought this cool Field Shinki from JCSD. I’m eager to see if it fits me, but if it doesn’t, then expect me to put it up for sale here at a lower price. (Many of you can vouch that I almost always take huge losses if a jacket doesn’t fit and the buyer always gets a hell of a deal—that’s just how I play this game.)

Yes, he did, but maybe it doesn't count, Greg being the maker. Plus, the jackets were new.

This sentiment, riddled throughout the threads about Field Leathers, is why I bought this jacket even though I’m very unsure about the fit dimensions for me. Just primarily want to check out the work… I may just get on the Field waiting list and hope I’ll have one made before my lifespan ends.

Pun fully intended? I broke down and got on the waiting list earlier this year. I’m really excited to work with Greg on it - he’s been great to work with, even in the early stages.

My advice would be to go for the full aniline Shinki (unless you want something waterproof). The way it ages is amazing.
