Feedback on my getting this vintage style bag...

I'm thinking of going for this Italian made calf leather weekender bag. Can get it for just over £100. What do you think?

I like that bag! Sporty as all hell. I can picture you carrying it, perhaps with a folded trenchcoat laying across the top, checking in to a fancy hotel. Real Leslie Howard.

Nice bag, but it looks too new for you. Why not go for a vintage one on eBay? I recently picked up a similar bag (just post war) for about half what you are suggesting. As they are a lon-lasting item they are quite common.

I believe it's by Tusting. I have one of their briefcases and love it.
100 pounds is very good as I believe they usually run 300.

I was thinking of the one Aero use to sell for 300 pounds, but on a closer look that one looks a little different, esp. in the stitching. Ken's was an english bag from Tusting, which they still sell.
