Huh, that's going a bit far! :D

But, I listened to Obama's speech and he seems to be the right man to restore US back onto the map of the free world.

Huh, I wasn't aware that we ever got off of the map. :D

The U.S. presidential inauguration is of global interest because the president is the de facto leader of the free world.

Oh! THAT President :eusa_doh:

The ban on politics on FL stops me from commenting further about that statement, there are plenty of other web sites for that.

It's the first time I can ever recall an inauguration being televised in it's entirety

Hell, I love a cowboy hat.. here I am in my Texas Hatters LSD, a vintage from 30 years ago [a gift from my beloved grandmother]. .[re-worked by Major Moore] And yes it is from Texas.
The same place a certain Texan is supposed to be from.

What a fine hat there RNH. Just like in the old days - you lost a bet and had to walk around with yer lid on backwards to make good shhhhhhhh.

Couple days ride in a hat like that....... you could just walk in to the bank and whip it across your thighs releasing a cloud of dust that would scare 'em all out.... I'm smitten with romance - of the FeLt.

Thanks. Time was you would get flagged discussing religion or politics at a "Lounge".

Does anyone know why the "presidential fedora" being offered from Hartford Hats is not available in oval or long oval sizes or how the Pinnacle is for sale at $295.00 which is such a major deal considering the regular price of a Stetson pinnacle plus a portion goes to charity?

My friend was there and he wears fedoras and newsboys, he will be back at work tomorrow and I am really curious about his impression of the numbers of hat wearers from having been in the middle of it. But I sure wish people would mix it up alittle and quit wearing only black. It woulda been nice to see a VS in the crowd.:D

I saw a pale green, maybe sage with a light salmon trim that looked mighty fine. Custom for sure it had a perfect fit in both crown height and brim width and the colors matched the Gents skin tone to a tee. Bad memory or vivid hallucination? Does anyone remember or recognize the hat?

not pale green on the complexion mind you.

That's incredible! I can pick out the hats all I want. Hell, I can practically tell the brands when zoomed in.

Wow, you aren't kidding at all.

Like with the gold lettering on the bow of Cheney's hat, I would conclude it's a Borsalino.
