Went to The Good Guys car show this morning. It was pretty overwhelming in size and scope. Only saw a fraction of what was there but here's a few cars I liked:

Establishing shot, me in Gus Miller montechristi, fair ground field behind me. It was early and cars were just starting to arrive.

A very low riding Griffin with suicide doors. Don't see these everyday

A couple of Chevys

Mild......

To wild......

One of my favorite ways to enjoy a day Mike. I'd guess a good time was had?
I, too, love the Caddies, and I'll admit, lately I've had a little jonesing for one of those vintage travel trailers.

Wow! Sweet stuff, Mike. What's the last one, your favorite? (I'm not knowledgeable in this field, but sure looks pretty!) I'd hate to drive over a pebble in that Griffin.

Glad you enjoyed fellas. The level of craftsmanship on these cars was amazing.

1933 Ford Victoria Jeff. Called a "Vicky" in hot rod circles. Here's an original:

Today I had to go to Lisbon to the Hospital again, so here is some pictures.

lisbon01.jpg

^^ This is the North side of Rossio. On the right is the "Santa Maria" Theatre.

lisbon02.jpg

^^ With the "Santa Maria" Theatre behind me, this is the view of the "Rossio" plaza. The monument in the middle, one of the fountains, to the right we can see the "Santa Justa" lift and were the crane is, the remains of the "Carmo" church that survived from the 1755 earthquake as it was never re-builded.

lisbon03.jpg

^^ The Rossio train station recently cleaned.

lisbon04.jpg

^^ right next to it is the Hotel Avenida Palace.

lisbon05.jpg

^^ This is the "Eden" theatre. Some years ago, it was a Virgin Megastore but it bankrupt.

lisbon06.jpg

^^ "Restauradores" plaza monument

lisbon07.jpg

^^ "Santa Apolónia" train station and on top the "Capitolio" dome.

lisbon08.jpg

^^ Me with John Galt Stagecoach.

lisbon10.jpg

^^ A navy ship. There was fog on the Tagus south bank so we can't see it in this picture.

And because I didn't had any work to do, my friends picked me up in the afternoon and we went to "Serra de Sintra" for a drive.
sintra01.jpg

^^ The "Pena" Palace located in the "Serra de Sintra"

sintra02.jpg

sintra03.jpg

^^ I had to see the ocean. This is near "Praia das maçãs"... I remembered Che as he also like this kind of pictures.

sintra04.jpg

^^Me with the "silver" Stagecoach.

sintra05.jpg

^^ Then we went to drive in the narrow roads in the forest of "Serra de Sintra".

sintra06.jpg

^^As we climb we entered the fog

sintra07.jpg

^^ It looked creepy as a horror movie :) but it was cold there.
