Today for an outing with my wife to a few fleamarkets I wore my Adventurebilt CS.

At one of the shops I ran across a Stetson and a Lee, both nice thin ribbons.

At another shop I found this later model mode edge Stetson.

And also ran across these hat boxs. I have found several Beaver Brand boxs in my neck of the woods. They were more popular around here than I had thought.

I did not buy anything but its fun to run across a hat now and again!

Lefty--nice hats, nice setting. I miss those fall color displays.

Rusty--classy AB, and those thin ribbons would have been tempting.

I put on an OR and Mrs. d. and I headed out to the Point Reyes National Seashore this afternoon. A herd of Tule Elk were grazing about 100 yards off the road out to the point. We caught a glimpse of a large number of elephant seals hiding up on a beach in a cove on the edge of Drake's Bay, too far away to photograph. The wind trolley was mandatory today.

Looking a bit sinister there Ghost Rider.

Best dressed couple in the woods Lefty.

I wouldn't have been able to pass up the hat boxes Rusty.

Great scenery and actual use of a wind cord g.

Thanks for all those posts fellas.

Hampton, I'm digging that. If you don't mind, what is your ht/wt so I can get an idea of the proportion. That looks to be about 2" brim, I think.

I'm 5' 7" and 140 lbs, with a small head (54 or 55, depending on manufacturer). Brim is just a fraction under 2".

@Mikespens: I wasn't intentionally trying to look sinister - just struggling to take a picture at arm's length with an iPhone;)

That's a good looking hat. Congrats on the pig. Do you have year round season on them where you are?

Rusty That's an awfully wiiiiiiiide ribbon!

GD, great vistas, photos, lovely wife! Thanks for showing how to use a wind cord. We just don't see them in action very often.

Good eatin', GT!

Clay pigeons aren't as tasty, but satisfying... Great pic, sweet lid, Tommy!

Looks like quite an excursion, G. Durand! Nice to use the wind trolley once in awhile, eh?

Great, great jacket, btw- Aero HB Deluxe? I have one in black that I just got back. Love it!
