AnA-- what a great trip, you lucky devil! I stopped following football in 1985 after Joe Theismann snapped his leg in half. That was enough for a nerdy little kid to harbor a lifelong total disinterest, but looks like you had a great time up in Buffalo! BTW-- Buffalo 66-- quite a good film!

It's a bit dark but no people or cars get blown up if I remember correctly, so I guess that makes it an "art" film. If you like that kind of movie. I enjoy that stuff, but each person has his preferences.

I confess to seeing and enjoying Buffalo 66 when current but did skip The Brown Bunny despite my fondness of motorcycle road racing. Had the controversy been over another bit of anatomy I may have given it a chance.

Yesterday afternoon I spent a little time downtown. Morris ave. Was a business district in B'ham in the late 19th early 20th centurys, was remade into an entertainment dist. in the 60s which was about at the end of it's run in the 80s when I was in college and hanging around there. It is now home to countless law offices and high buck loft condos full of hipsters
