Great photo Hatguy. Still no snow over here - just the highest January rainfall in over 100 yrs (it's soggy...).
Ah, the fine UK winter rains. :rain: Sure wish you could send some of them our way - our western states are getting pretty dry.

We're in for a snowstorm here on the Prairie tomorrow. Depending on whom is forecasting, 2-6" headed our way. :smow:(If I could only get my hands on that ol' Punxsutawney Phil.... :p)

Thanks for the nice words re the pic, all.

Arriving in Vegas in my gray 50s Strat late Friday night. Got picked up by this:

Some very friendly peacock(?), I met at the hotel. She made me consider my view on feathers and hats :)

Here at Hoover Dam. Yes, same gray 50s Strat, but it's the only fedora I brought on this trip. I guess you don't bring red wine on a trip to France, either. Planning to go home with more hats than I came with!

Historyteach -- sell the kidney and get the ES335. I somehow managed to get the scratch together a few years ago (I'm an Englishteach) for one and it's the best and most versatile guitar I've ever owned. One of those and a decent acoustic are all you'll need. And a hat.

Thanks for the comments, Gents. And please don't worry ... the peackock-adventure took only 1/1000 of a second. We have the same species back home, though they look a little different :D
