Great review and good pics. Times like this I regret all the half-assed purchases I've made over the years and wish I could get even 20p on the pound back on them to re-invest in some of these!

Great pics major. Are these what are going up on the site?

Can't wait for my Shackleton to arrive.

Also, is that late WWII Irvin based on an authentic vintage model? Is the Union Jack stitching design intentional?

Great review article Craig. Are you one of the models in the photos?

The Union Jack design on the late War Irvin is interesting but I have never seen it on originals so it is not really authentic. The jacket is a vast improvement on previous Aero Irvins.

They all went on to the FB page about an hour ago. I guess they are the ones we'll see on the site later. I think the order dept will be busy next week!

I'm the one wearing the Irvin! The pattern is certainly based on an original late period Irvin that looked similar (maybe not as Union Jack as that...:D), Ken said the panel shapes will vary - which is an authentic feature isn't it?- and the zips are NOS.

The Mulligan is essentially a Teamster with patch pockets, isn't it?

It's actually a stitching effect to make it look like patches. I got a bit confused about that when I was looking at it last week. That means that the inside of the pockets are lined in moleskin or whatever rather than bare leather like the Stockman, which has real patch pockets.

I think this will be the standard production version of the Maxwell, which seems to be an Insurrection thing only.

No sure whether the pockets make it look a little too busy/clunky for my taste. The difference is that the Maxwell is based on the 30s slimfit HB; I don't believe the Teamster is cut that close. The Maxwell also has a top pocket, which I rather like.
