Just wanted to say thanks again to Duper & RBH for spearheading this effort.
This is a VERY nice size brim in a very versatile color. Honored again to be the winner of the free hat from Sam at EA.
Nice job guys!

Mine came!! :D

It's wonderful. I haven't had time to play with it yet, but I'm looking forward to it!

Thanks again for making this happen!!

Yes Tom, this is a beautiful hat and it's quickly becoming my favorite. Tom has my new OR (Biltmore) and is shaping it for me. I may need some help getting it back (LOL) since we wear the same size!

I too would like to thank everyone involved with this purchase. I hope to participate in the next one too. I now have two Camp Drafts and two ORs (one 25 and one Biltmore) along with all my other goodies. The Akubras are such great quality. I'd buy another one in a different color for sure!

Well, here's my first attempt at dry bashing the hat. I went with the center dent and the pinched front (Indy style, I guess).

(By the way, the first shot was taken without a flash, the second with a flash.)

I don't think it's perfect, but it suits me just fine. Man, I love this hat!

I'll post a shot of the hat on my head when I can take a good one.

Darn you lucky guys. I think mine must be lost. Got my shipping notice on the 23rd and still no sign of the hat. As you can tell, my patience, which has been good until now is wearing a bit thin. I can't find any way to track it either. Guess I have to hang on a bit longer. It's not easy seeing all these great hats!

Mine was shipped on the 23rd and I was beginning to wonder if it was every going to arrive as there were no updates on either the Australia Post or USPS web sites. Finally early this morning the USPS web site reported it was at the post office distribution center in my city. Wasn't clear it would be out on the truck for delivery today. Luckily I was at home for lunch from work when the postman showed up with it as I didn't expect to have to sign for it, otherwise I'd be forced to wait till tomorrow to get it.

Anyways, I've got the box waiting for me as soon as I find a minute to open it up. Looking forward to seeing what I got!

@RBH. Can't drive the dang thing in the fresh snow today, Rusty. However, the hat showed up finally. It's great and the fit is perfect. I really like the narrower brim. I knew when Walt got his in Idaho, I couldn't be far behind. Now I have to decide on a crease. Thanks to Duper and you for your efforts on this special purchase.

Has anyone removed the liner from theirs? I have mine creased how I want but the liner is kind of bunching up. I've thought of removing it but it's a really nice liner and part of the hat, so I'm kind of hesitant to remove it.

I removed the liners out of mine, mostly to give me more wearing time. During colder months, I stick the liners back in just tucking them behind the sweat. The glue used to hold in place is from a hot glue gun. I use a blow dryer to warm up it up so it lets go more readily.
