Just shows how differently tax payers' money is used in different countries. In Finland, if you get an inch of snow on the road/street, there will be someone clearing that road in a few minutes. Only the worst blizzards can momentarily overpower the power of the machinery clearing it away, but even then it will be only the least used roads in the rural areas or on the outskirts of cities that suffer for longer than a couple of hours...Mike in Seattle said:Our postman skipped two days this week - so much for "Neither rain, nor snow, nor dark of night..."
