A bit of a mystery jacket, made by
" Ross Millard Custom Leather "

Quite possibly a childs horsehide
jacket, but it fits my frame

That cycle queen is super but that CR is just outstanding! The metal rivets that hold the side laces look like what you'd find on boots!! Very unique belt design as well. Wonder the era on that one. Haven't seen anything like it.

LOL. I see the tag says 1937:oops:
Much appreciated, yea it's a "different"
on for sure. Makes me want to put speed
laces on some of my other jackets :]

I should have taken a closer photo,
but I believe the number is part of the
address. Can't find much info on the
maker :/

I believe they closed shop by the early
80s. Wish I had more info!

Those are both awesome jackets. I especially like the Cycle Queen!

I bet you'll have an easier time than many of us finding vintage jackets that fit. It seems like a lot of the smaller ones remain available on eBay because there aren't many people seeking them.

Hey, how does the aero Daytona feels in this combination? I'm actually in the process of buyng myself one, and strongly hesitate between Tumbled FQHH and Vicenza, so your opinion would help much :)
Regards

For my liking Vicenza is "the best" or in other words an accurate leather for a biker-jacket like the 40's/50's style D-pocket Daytona. It reminds me of original ones from that era in terms of thickness but of course it isn't armour built like a CXL HH Jacket e.g. Also, I wouldn't go with Vicenza if it comes to a civilian type Jacket... I like the Blattwerk & Shinki more.

If you are looking for more authenticity go for Vicenza, if safety (e.g. thicker hide) is an aspect tumbled HH would be an option...
