Lemmon & Matthau in the Odd Couple, and Lemmon & Curtis in Some Like It Hot. Basically, Jack Lemmon and anyone!

When I was a kid, I liked Martin & Lewis. Although not a comedy team as such, I liked watching the Our Gang Comedies, which they would show at the Saturday matinees.

I used to watch Burns & Allen when I was a kid, and fdidn'y like it very much because I thought Gracie Allen was a dimwit. Of course, years later, I saw reruns of their shows and laughed my head off and, of course realized how brilliant Gracie was.

Sid Caesar, Imogene Coca, Carl Reiner, and Howard Morris on Your Show of Shows (1950-1954)-- they had the best writers, including Mel Brooks, Woody Allen and Neil Simon.

The original Saturday Night Live players: Gilda Radner, John Belusshi, Jane Curtin, Lorraine Newman, Chevy Chase, Garrett Morris, Dan Akroyd and, later, Bill Murray. Funny people.

I also liked Carol Burnette's comedy team on her show in the 70's. They were so funny, especially Tim Conroy.

Does anyone remember Mike Nichols and Elaine May? I liked them, too.

I am sure I am missing a few, here, more later.

What, all these posts and nobody"s mentioned Wheeler and Woolsey?? Don't tell me nobody here's seen "Diplomaniacs!"

I haven't but now I have to!

There hasn't been a comedy team that hasn't been listed that I didn't like.
