Oh, people think my repro stuff from the 70s and 80s is vintage all of the time, even people who were alive in the 40s. I need more dresses with a bustle! I usually take out the elastic anyway and tailor it a little. These are the clothes I wear to work and out to dinner, saving real vintage for parties and going out for cocktails.

heh, yes it is a bullet bra, i love 'em. it was vintage from eBay. I'm trying to get a new black one from WKD but they keep sending it and it keeps not arriving. I think, they think I'm stealing them.

I also don't think that there is anything wrong with repro! Actually, I only wear modern clothes which look old ;) For me, as I'm especially into late 20's and early 30's there is no way to find things which I wouldn't be afraid to wear or which are affordable and not teared up already. Hooray for Repro I say :)

Oh I've had this too! I've had women cooing over something I've been wearing and I'm secretly thinking, "If only you knew it was from the 80's!" My modern shoes have fooled many people too.

I don't wear vintage everyday. I started thinking and realised I have a lot of 80's things. I don't see myself as someone into 80's but I am.

I have lots of shoes. They made men's shoes for women then. And I believe most of my pencilskirts are from the eighties. But i don't look 80's. I hope at least.

As long as your clothes have style I don't care when there from.

And some clothes, like cardigans are kind ot the same today. Not as beautiful today as in the fifties but still something I like to wear.

I like fabrics and it's so boring fabrics nowadays, so flimsy. I rarely buy new clothes because the fabric it so boring even if the cut is nice. How about you? Do you care most for the siluette or the fabric or maybe details?

I picked this up yesterday for under 5 dollars and I think with a bit of work it could be really cute.
