I love her line, "I dress up for the theatre of my life." She is inspiring!

I want her head hugging leopard hat with the dyed ostrich feathers on the side, and that matching leopard muff!

Didn't she say "I dress up for the theater every day of my life"?
(Obviously, I know she doesn't really mean she goes to the theater every day... just that she likes to dress neat and glamorous.)
I saw the video a few months ago and don't have a chance of replaying it right now (husband's watching something, and I don't want to disturb him - haha), so I could be wrong! :) Either way a good quote IMO!

I adore the Advanced Style blog so very much; strange, as I'm 19, but I find those ladies so much more fun and inspirational than any other contemporary fashion site. There's a documentary coming out this summer I gather, so exciting! The trailer is also a goldmine of brilliant quotes....

Ohmygoodnessgraciousme, I absolutely LOOOVE this trailer!! What GREAT words of wisdom! I love the lady that says- "I don't dress for other people, I dress for myself. If someone doesn't like what I am wearing, I don't give a sh*t."

My new blog!

Thanks for posting this link, Rodeo Rose. I just love these ageless beauties and look forward to this documentary. Sadly, I recognized the photo of this striking woman in the attached story, Zelda Kaplan (she's 38-seconds into the video, wearing a black and red outfit and matching hat) in today's news. Fabulous at 95, she died yesterday during NY's fashion week, while watching one of the runway shows. Such a memorable face and style from just a couple of viewings of that clip. RIP.
