WTF was the last sentence about the escaped beaver there for?

"NazicowNazicowNazicow, Oh, and a beaver escaped too."[huh]

Human interest. The cooky crazy beaver, raomin' around just buildin' dams, and by golly, you betcha! he's a mad one.

It gets the audience rooting for the beaver. I sense a follow-up story on the beaver "when the water levels in a nearby river stabilize and vegetation grows to stabilize the traps."

Inadvertently illustrating the miserable quality of journalism in the Torygraph. "stabilize" used twice in the same sentence, a mere 5 words apart.shakeshead *yucky*

Now that's a slow news day; too slow to even fill a single column with one story. Beavers. Indeed!

I'm sure the political stances of the cattle play the entire field.

The cows from Brazil?

Honestly, just because hey were recreated by the Germans, does not make them Nazi cows. many cows wee just regular cows giving milk for the father land. Only about ten percent of cows were actually members of the Nazi party, and many of them joined out of forced obligation.

And ultimately, many of these cows were just following orders.

A breed of cattle that was recreated by Nazi geneticists after becoming extinct can be seen in Britain for the first time for 2,000 years.

The source was the father of all cattle

It has a Hebrew name as well...

Maybe this was the source of the Telegraph article:
http://www.zwoje-scrolls.com/zwoje29/text16.htm

Abu Hamid Al Garnati (Al Andalucí) an Arab traveller accounted in 1150 AD that "there is a wild ox of an Elephant's size hunted by Hungarians because of its fat meat and superb hide and its horns can be compared with Elephant tusks".

Aurox skulls are still found by fishermen from the Tisza river.

Auerochse (Őstulok)... rest in peace

You people are something else. All those cows want is a little bit of lebensraum.
